The Punjab Government has announced that cinema halls, restaurants, and clubs will be shut till March 31 amid Coronavirus scare. Health Minister Balbir Singh said the government is thinking to impose ban till the end of this month on all such public functions which attract big crowds. Piyush Goyal says the railways taking precautions against the novel Coronavirus

Railways minister Piyush Goyal recently stated that the IRCTC is taking unprecedented precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Goyal tweeted with photographs of cleaning operations of trains and said railway stations and trains are being sanitised to ensure utmost hygiene, making travel safe for passengers. Delhi's Tihar Jail, gets isolation ward to prevent Coronavirus

In order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, an isolation ward has been set up at Delhi's Tihar jail, which is a home to around 17,500 inmates. As per the reports, no current inmates at Tihar Jail have shown symptoms of Covid-19, and new ones are being screened. A Delhi woman, 69, died of Covid-19 on Friday, bringing the death toll in India to two. 19-year-old commits suicide after mother made her marry a man to continue affair with him

A woman has been booked for allegedly abetting the suicide of her elder daughter, on the basis of a complaint filed by her 17-year-old younger daughter. According to the complainant, the accused married her 19-year-old daughter to a man she already had an affair with. The situation worsened when the now-deceased woman found out about her husband’s affair with her mother even after their marriage.
