Spice jet pilot tests positive for Coronavirus

Amid Coronavirus outbreak, Spicejet pilot has tested positive for Coronavirus. Airline spokesperson informed that the test report came on March 28. He did not operate any international flight in March 2020. The spokesperson added that the last domestic flight that he operated was on March 21 from Chennai to Delhi and since then he had quarantined himself at home. Chandigarh Cops rush to family who threatened to commits suicide over food supply

Amid Coronavirus lockdown, Chandigarh police have to rush to help a family because of the food supply. According to police, they received a phone call from a woman saying she and her family will commit suicide as they have no means to buy food and medicine. Eight more positive coronavirus cases in Gujarat, total cases jump to 55

A senior health official has reported that the number of coronavirus patients in Gujarat rose to 55 with eight new cases coming to light on Saturday. Three were reported in Ahmedabad, two in Gandhinagar and one each in Vadodara, Mehsana and Gir Somnath districts. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that with the number of cases increasing, the government has decided to set up a 100-bed isolation hospital at every district headquarters. 38-year-old eating joint employee dies while walking home for 200 kms amid lockdown

Amid the nationwide lockdown over the coronavirus outbreak, a 38-year-old man who had walked 200 kilometres from Delhi to reach his home, died on the Delhi-Agra highway on Saturday morning. He was an employee at an eating joint. Two men, who were accompanying the man, told the police that he complained of chest pain before he collapsed.
