Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today announced Operation SHIELD for coronavirus containment in 21 localities. SHIELD stands for sealing, home quarantine, isolation and tracing, essential supply, local sanitation and door-to-door checks. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said on Twitter on Thursday, "I appeal to all living in the containment areas to cooperate with the Delhi government’s Operation SHIELD. Delhi govt has set up 328 relief centres for 57,000 people, says CM Arvind Kejriwal

While addressing a press conference CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that Delhi government has prepared 328 relief centres to accommodate 57,000 people, amid the coronavirus pandemic. He said, "Anyone can come to these relief centres and stay here. We will take care of them.” Delhi has witnessed a total of 386 confirmed coronavirus cases and six deaths so far. Those who died while serving Coronavirus patients will be given INR 1 crore: Kejriwal

Delhi Government-led by Arvind Kejriwal has announced INR 1 crore to families whose member died while serving Coronavirus patient. Kejriwal said that if unfortunately, any health worker - a sanitation worker, doctor or nurse - is martyred while serving COVID-19 patients, their families will be given R 1 crore. Whether they are from the private or government sector. He further added the health workers are doing is no less than that of a soldier. They are risking their lives to save people of this country.
