Over 4,000 arrested in Kashmir since Article 370 revocation

In Kashmir's Srinagar, thousands of people have been arrested over fears of distress after New Delhi stripped the region of its autonomy two weeks ago. A local magistrate stated, around 4,000 people were arrested and held under the Public Safety Act (PSA). He further said, "Most of them were flown out of Kashmir because prisons here have run out of capacity". This statement came after a family of a timber trader alleged that a member of the family died after suffocating from tear gas fired by security forces. Src: https://bit.ly/2ZhdI8l
