The Twitter handle of Jaipur Police took a dig at song 'Masakali 2.0' and issued a warning against those violating lockdown amid coronavirus pandemic. "If you're unnecessarily roaming outside we'll put you in a room and play 'Masakali 2.0' on loop," they wrote. No mask, no fuel rule in Odisha by all petrol pumps

The petrol pumps across Odisha have come out with a rigorous rule, No Mask, No Petrol/Diesel /CNG, in a bid to strictly enforce government's order making the wearing of face masks mandatory while going out of homes. The fuel outlets decision was announced by Utkal Petroleum Dealers Association general secretary Sanjay Lath in Bhubaneswar. The state has reported 44 cases of Coronavirus. 149 people held, 30 vehicles impounded for defying lockdown in Noida

The police on Thursday arrested 149 people and impounded 30 vehicles across Noida and Greater Noida for allegedly defying the COVID-19 lockdown. The police reported that seven FIRs were registered. A total of 445 vehicles were checked across 132 barrier points in the district and challans issued to 200 of them, while 30 were impounded. The FIRs were registered under the Indian Penal Code section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) over violations of the lockdown under Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) Section 144, which bars assembly of four or more person. Punjab Govt announces to extend lockdown till May 1st in state

Amid Coronavirus lockdown, Punjab Government has announced to extend the 21-days lockdown in the state till May 1st. The government said, "The decision was taken at a meeting of the council of ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, to check community spread of the coronavirus pandemic and to prevent overcrowding at the Mandis in the light of the ensuing wheat harvesting/procurement season”.
