CBSE board restored the board examination fees hike

Recently the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had declared of enhancing the fees for class X and XII students for general and SC/ST students. For class 10th and 12th students by 24 times for SC/ST category from Rs.50 to Rs 1,200. For General category students, the fee has been doubled from Rs. 750 to Rs. 1,500 for five subjects. But after the oppose of All Indian Parents Association the CBSE board had restored the fees to Rs 50 for SC/ST students in Delhi government schools. The Delhi government will cover rest of the fees, said the media reports. CBSE board had given multiple reasons to back their hike decision. Let us know if you stand with the Delhi government's move? Delhi govt declares 2-day mourning, after the demise of Sushma Swaraj

On Tuesday late night the Senior BJP leader, Sushma Swaraj passed away at the age of 67. After her demise the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has tweeted, “India has lost a great leader. Sushma ji was a very warm and remarkable person. May her soul rest in peace.” It was also confirmed that the state will observe two-day state mourning as a mark of respect in memory of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, says Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Delhi govt to SC: 1,400 new AC buses to be procured by May 2020

The Delhi government informed the Supreme Court on Monday that 3,035 buses, including 1,385 low floor AC and electric ones, will be introduced by next May to increase the public transport system in the Delhi. It further said that the process of inducting 1,000 standard-floor non-AC CNG cluster buses with hydraulic lifts, for differently-abled persons, will be completed in February 2020. Firm that makes Budweiser banned from selling beer in Delhi for 3 years over Tax Evasion

Delhi has banned the world’s largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev, from selling its products in the city market for 3 years for allegedly evading local taxes. The state government found that the beer maker 'SABMiller' acquired by 'AB InBev' used duplicate barcodes on its beer bottles supplied to city retailers to evade payment of excise duty. AB InBev, which manufactures popular beer brands such as Budweiser, Hoegaarden and Stella Artois denied the Delhi government’s allegations and would appeal against the order.
