Markaz chief Maulana Saad traced in Delhi, police to question after quarantine period

According to sources, Maulana Saad, chief of the Nizamuddin Markaz, has been traced and is reportedly staying in Zakir Nagar area of New Delhi. He has currently put himself under self-quarantine. The Delhi Police is also planning to question Maulana Saad but he will be questioned only after his self-quarantine period is over. It is alleged that Maulana Saad disregarded government guidelines that were issued in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. Mumbai makes it mandatory to wear masks in public places, violators face arrest

Today, in Mumbai wearing masks or covering the face with a cloth while moving out has been made mandatory. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced that people violating the order would face arrest under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray urged people to wear masks while going out of their homes. Govt decides to issue all pending income-tax refunds up to INR 5 lakh to be released

The Income Tax Department will release all pending income tax refunds up to INR 5 lakh immediately, in a move that will benefit around 14 lakh taxpayers. The department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance informed that All GST and custom refunds will also be released, which will provide benefit to around 1 lakh business entities, including MSMEs. Man shot dead 16-yr-old son for serving him a half-filled glass of milk in UP

In the Sohanna village in Puranpur area, a man identified as Gurmukh Singh shot dead his son Jaskaran and then killed himself over a dispute over a glass of milk. Gurmukh complained that his son had taken more milk while he was given a lesser quantity. He lost his temper when he saw his son bring a half-filled glass of milk.
