Karnataka: Father of late Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha passes away in Mysuru

Recently Gangaiah Hegde, the father of the late Café Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha, passed away at a hospital in Mysuru. As per the media reports, Hegde (95) was suffering from age-related problems and was admitted at the Gopala Gowda Shanthaveri Memorial Hospital in the city. The media reports have further claimed that he was not even informed of his son's tragic demise. Bihar schools have worst student-teacher ratio, followed by Delhi, says HRD Ministry

The HRD Ministry recently have concluded that the Schools in Bihar have the fewest teachers per student with a pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) of 38, while the city capital, Delhi is standing at 35. The Right to education act, 2009 in its schedule had laid down pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) for both primary level at 30:1 and upper primary level at 35:1.
