In a press conference, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday announced INR 50 lakh per person insurance for doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who are exposing themselves to the Coronavirus and working on the frontline for three months. COVID-19: FM Sitharaman announces INR 1.7 lakh crore relief package for poor

In a press conference, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today, announced an INR 1.7 lakh crore Prime Minister Gareeb Kalyan Yojana to combat the economic impact of the 21-day nationwide lockdown on the poor. Sitharaman says Aadhaar-PAN linking deadline extended to June 30

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently stated that the deadline for linking Aadhaar with PAN card has been extended to June 30 from March 31 as the country is under lockdown to stop the spread of the COVID-19 disease. The deadline for linking Permanent Account Number card to Aadhaar was extended by the Income Tax department to March 31 earlier. Can withdraw cash from bank’s Atm for free for the next 3 months, says Sitharaman

While addressing media, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared that debit cardholders can withdraw cash from any bank for free. She explained that they can withdraw cash from any bank’s ATM for free of charge for the next 3 months. She further added that there will be complete waive off minimum balance charges for a savings bank account.
