Fear of having Coronavirus, 56-yr-old man commits suicide, ask family to get test too

In Udupi district of Karnataka, a 56-year-old man allegedly committed suicide after fearing that he had infected novel Coronavirus. He committed suicide hanging near a tree outside his house, the man had left a note to his family. In the note, he mentioned that he might have contracted Coronavirus and his family should get tested too. Today, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have been released after almost 8 months in detention in Kashmir. Omar was released after Supreme Court heard Omar Abdullah's sister's petition for his immediate release and asked the centre to respond by this week whether it planned to free him. Meanwhile, Mehbooba Mufti whose still under detention tweeted, "Glad he will be released. For all their talk of Nari Shakti & women emancipation, seems like this regime fears women the most." Vaishno Devi shrine bans foreign travellers temporarily over coronavirus

Famous Hindu shrine of Vaishno Devi has recently restricted foreigners and other travellers from abroad from visiting within 28 days of their arrival in India.
