Nitish Kumar says special buses for migrants will defeat purpose

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently stated that arranging special buses to send people to their native states amid a three-week nationwide lockdown over coronavirus or COVID-19 will lead to an "increase in the spread" of the virus. He added that it is better to organise camps locally, instead of trying to send people back home. Spice Jet says if govt allows then will fly migrants to Delhi, Mumbai and Patna

Today, the government has banned all domestic flight across the nation. Several migrants are stuck at another state and wanted to go back to their home. On that, Spice Jet has offered service to migrant workers. SpiceJet CMD Ajay Singh said they would like to alleviate the suffering of the migrant workers, especially those from Bihar, by flying some flights between Delhi, Mumbai and Patna.
