Senior Congress leader and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad was stopped at the Jammu airport on Tuesday and sent back to Delhi. This is the second time in the month that former chief minister was not allowed to visit Jammu and Kashmir after its special status was withdrawn. Azad said, “It’s not right for democracy. If mainstream political parties won’t visit, then who will go? it is a sign of intolerance”. On his trip to J&K, he had planned to interact with Congress workers and assess the situation in the valley after the Narendra Modi government scrapped Article 370.
