Cruel to continue detention of Mehbooba Mufti amid situation like this: Omar Abdullah

A day after the release of former CM of J&K Omar Abdullah from 8 months detention in Kashmir, he tweeted "It’s callous & cruel to continue to detain MehboobaMufti & others at a time like this.There was never much justification to detain everyone in the 1st place & none at all to keep them detained as the country enters a 3 week lockdown.I hope PMOIndia & HMOIndia will release them". Since the abrogation of Article 370 Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti along with several local leaders were kept under detention. Kamal Nath resigns as Madhya Pradesh CM ahead of floor test

While addressing media Kamal Nath announced his resignation as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister. His announcement came ahead of the floor test which was scheduled today. Nath said that he will tender his resignation to MP Governor Lalji Tandon today. He further called out 22 rebel Congress MLAs and said they betrayed the people of Madhya Pradesh.
