In Jharkhand's Ranchi city, a woman has lodged a police complaint alleging that she was tricked into marriage by a man who allegedly pressured her into embracing Islam and eating beef, raped her for six years, administered her sedatives to get her to have sexual relations with others, video graphed the act and finally divorced her by triple talaq. The accused has been identified as Sonu alias Md Abul Kaish. The police have registered an FIR under sections 376, 376 (2) (g), 295A and the new triple talaq law. Ranchi SP Ashutosh Shekhar stated, "As per our information, the accused is not it Ranchi. However, we will find out the truth and appropriate legal action will be taken". Src: https://bit.ly/2HfpYfq

Priyanka Gandhi slams Modi Govt over RSS tweet

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra slammed BJP Govt on her Twitter handle over RSS tweet. Priyanka stated, "So the RSS has declared in a tweet that all issues in the society should be resolved through cordial dialogue?" She further said, "I suppose either Modiji and his government no longer respect the RSS's views or they don't believe that there is an issue in Jammu and Kashmir. Interesting...," This came after RSS' prachar pramukh (public head) Arun Kumar stated, “Bhagwat highlighted the importance of resolving all issues in society through cordial dialogue and had called upon everyone to exchange views on a sensitive issue like reservation”. Pakistan to announce new diplomatic steps against India, planning to move ICJ after UNSC debacle

Pakistan is probably going to announce new diplomatic strides against India by moving to International Court of Justice (ICJ) over the Kashmir issue with India. After a high-level meeting with Pakistan PM Imran Khan, it's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi affirmed that Pakistan will make a Kashmir cell under its foreign affairs office and establish a Kashmir desk in its embassies in key cities. He further asserted that yesterday's 'closed consultations' at the UN Security Council was a major event, however, the ongoing Kashmir issue can’t be tackled through one event and it's a long war that Pakistan has to fight.
