19 new postive Covid-19 cases reported in Kerala, number of infected in state reaches 126

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has reported that 19 more positive cases of Coronavirus today. The number of infected in the state has thus reached 126. The chief minister said more than 1.20 lakh people are under observation in the state. Kannur district has recorded the highest number cases on Thursday with nine, while three cases each were from Kasaragod and Malappuram districts, followed by two from Thrissur and one each from Idukki and Wayanad. Mahindra ties up with PSUs to mass-produce ventilators and aid COID-19 treatments

Mahindra & Mahindra's MD Pawan K Goenka has announced that Mahindra Group is going to increase the manufacturing of ventilators by simplifying design and is already working with two PSUs. The company is also working on an automated version of the Bag Valve Mask ventilator. Goenka also said, "We hope to have a prototype ready in three days for approval. Total number of positive COVID-19 cases rises to 694 in India, death toll surges to 16

According to reports from the Health Ministry, the total number of coronavirus cases in India has risen to 694, while the death toll in the country has reached to 16. The confirmed cases comprise 647 Indian nationals and the remaining cases are of foreign nationals. The number of patients who have been cured or discharged is 44. Over 1,200 booked in Tamil Nadu for violating 21-day lockdown rules on the first day

According to media reports, the Tamil Nadu police have booked nearly 1,274 people across the state for various violations on the first day of the 21-day lockdown imposed due to Coronavirus by the central government. Out of these, 1,252 people were booked for violating the prohibitory orders under Section 144 in force in the state.
